一、Overview
A punch press， also named a stamping press，is a core forging equipment for hardware processing industry .with the help of dies and mechanical pressures,it provide metal sheets and profiles with stamping , bending,cutting and forming process.

二、Main Types and Characteristics
1、Mechanical Ordinary Punch Press
It rely on ordinary asynchronous motor and flywheel transmission to work，controlled by mechanical clutch. Simple mechanism，low cost，stable stamping speed，low precision.it is chiefly used in simple rough processing , mass conventional punching tasks, and lacks CNC and servo intelligent regulation capabilities.
2、C-frame Punch Press
The body is C shaped, three sides lying open.It is convenient for feeding, picking and die installation and commissioning,and offers wide operational space.simple structure,higher cost performance,which is a common device for small and medium-sized processing workshops.
3、Straight-side Punch Press
The frame of the punch press is of a closed structure,high rigidity,low running shake ,high pressure resistance,high precision,good stability,and can bear large tonnage pressure,which is often used for high precision,heavy load processing procedures.
4、Gantry Punch Press
Adopt frame design with gantry type,long span ,and excellent load-bearing capacity.The workbench has ample space,it is suitable for processing for large-sized work-pieces;high resistance to deformation,and suitable for continuous stamping work of large plates.

6、Hydraulic Punch Press
Powered by hydraulic cylinder,it has large stamping tonnage,adjustable stroke ,low noise and stable pressing performance.,and thick plates and special-shaped can be processed . Its shortcoming is low working speed,the oil is prone to wear and tear. It’s suit for heavy-tonnage ,thick-material stamping process.
7、Servo Punch Press
